Alessandra Marangon

Soprano

Alessandra Marangon is an Italian soprano born in Padua, where she began her studies in opera singing. She later earned a Master’s degree in Voice – Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, studying under renowned Dutch tenor Amand Hekkers. Her artistic path has been enriched by masterclasses with celebrated artists such as Barbara Frittoli, Ramón Vargas, Nelly Miricioiu, and Michael Chance, as well as opera studios and workshops with stage directors Gianmaria Aliverta and Floris Visser.

She made her solo debut in 2017 as Prima Conversa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, directed by Mara Zampieri at Teatro Barbarigo in Padua (Cantiere all’Opera), and in 2019 performed the role of Annina in Verdi’s La Traviata (Figaro Opera Society, Venice). Prior to that, she performed as a choir member in cities such as Mantua, Venice, Padua, and Bassano del Grappa, collaborating with local conservatories, the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, and the Iris Ensemble Choir.

Currently, Alessandra Marangon is active as a soloist both in Italy and internationally. She is a regular performer at the International Festival Puccini e la sua Lucca and is also the voice of the Sablier Duo, a unique harp and voice ensemble with harpist Maria Palma. She has appeared at numerous festivals, including Festiv’Alba and Celano Classica (Italy), Muziek op Zondag (The Netherlands), and Buffer Fringe Festival (Cyprus).

In addition to her performing career, Alessandra is a sought-after vocal coach. She collaborates with music schools, choirs, and institutions such as the Haagse Kunstkring in The Netherlands (Masterclass JongVocaal) and the University of Shijiazhuang in China (YUEDA College of Arts).

Alongside her musical journey, Alessandra Marangon also trained in tap dance and theatre. She specialized in Ancient Greek Drama, performing in productions at the Greek Theatre of Syracuse and the archaeological site of Akrai, as part of the National Institute of Ancient Drama (INDA).
