Hiroharu Ono

Japanese tenor Hiroharu Ono studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts and trained further in Rome and Vienna, including the Rome San Lorenzo Musica Masterclass. Initially a baritone, he transitioned to tenor in 2009, debuting as Alfredo in La Traviata. He studied with distinguished teachers including Miwako Matsumoto, Tadahiko Hirano, Motoharu Nakajima, and Jörg Schneider.
Hiroharu has performed internationally at venues such as the Festival di Lucca, Italy, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, receiving critical acclaim for his vocal artistry. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the BBC Opera Society Audition Gold Prize (Japan), First Prize at the IMKA International Vocal Competition, and honors from the Nikko International Music Festival, Taiyo Canzone Concorso, and Royal Mars International Competition.
