Madalena Pylarinou

Born into a family of musicians, soprano Madalena Pylarinou studied classical singing, violin, piano, music theory, and dance in Vienna, Graz, and Athens. She trained with renowned professors such as Akiko Nakajima, Christa Ludwig, and Cheryl Studer. Her early debut as Musetta paved the way for roles like Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro) and Monica (The Medium). She has performed at prestigious venues including the Croatian National Theater, Graz Opera, and the Greek National Opera. A winner of the 2022 Concorso Internazionale Maria Callas, she also co-founded Klangfarben, a performance series in Austria.
