Ukrainian soprano Olga Melnychuk is a rapidly emerging talent in the world of classical music. Currently a first-year master’s student at the National Music Academy of Ukraine under the guidance of Maria Lipinska, she has already established herself as a prolific award-winning performer on the international stage.
A laureate of over 35 international competitions, Olga has garnered top prizes in countries across Europe, including Grand Prix titles at the “New Names” (2019), “Nightingale of Ukraine” (2017), and “Yamaha” (2016) competitions. Her artistry has been recognized by prestigious organizations such as the International Mozart Competition (Vienna, 2023), the Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition (1st Prize, 2023), and the New York Classical Music Competition (1st Prize, 2023), among many others.
Her repertoire spans from coloratura fireworks to lyrical depth, featuring roles such as the Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), Marfa (The Tsar’s Bride), Amina (La Sonnambula), and Violetta (La Traviata). She also performs art songs by composers such as Leo Delibes, Gabriel Fauré, Joaquín Nin, and Fernando Obradors, as well as Ukrainian folk songs, arias, and romances that reflect her cultural roots.
Known for her crystalline tone, technical precision, and expressive stage presence, Olga continues to captivate audiences across Europe. She is a “Young Promise” honoree of the Anita Cerquetti Vocal Competition and a Gold Prize winner at the Amadeus International Music Awards (2023).
